I remember that day 35 years ago waiting all day in my second grade classroom to be checked out early because my Mom was having a baby. He wasn't born until after noon, so I didn't get to see him until after school. I remember thinking, what good is it having a younger brother if you can't get checked out of school early. So glad he's redeemed himself!!
