Annoying is when people consider themselves activists for causes that clearly

a. are blatantly trendy
b. have no personal relevance

I recently left a fuming message on my sister's phone telling her of my disdain for the "home farming movement" that was spoken of on a cracker commercial. Why do people have to garden all of the sudden because it is now cool? Like it's this new trend to have a garden and actually eat from it. IT AIN'T NEW!
