a few points of interest

So much, so much...

First of all, my friend Whitney let me be a food face on Rookie Cookie.  Do you read Rookie?  Do you cook with her?  You should, she is delicious.  I mean her food.  I like Whitney a lot too though for the record.  And she just named her brand new baby daughter Violet, even more of a reason to love her.

Secondly, my friends (~j and CW) did a triathlon this weekend.  They are awesome and I wanted to holla at my ladies to show some pride.  CW wrote about it here, I think you should visit her and tell her she rocks, I'm sure ~j won't be far behind with her own version so stay tuned.

Thirdly, my shorter half celebrated his birthday this weekend.  He is old.  Happy Birthday to him all belated and whatever!  I am the best wife ever...

Fourthly we watched the new Robin Hood movie last night.  Say what you want about Russell Crowe being too old and fat for that junk but grandpa got himself yoked.  For serious.  Russell and the two moles on his face were looking in fine form.  Plus it has Cate Blanchett and that huge guy from Lost who starred in Mystery, Alaska with Russell Crowe back in the day, along with the red headed guy who was ALSO in Mystery, Alaska.  That fact just barely dawned on me when I did some linkage stuff on here.  I guess they are all friendies or whatever.  Verdict on the movie: it's no Gladiator but comes together just fine.  The merry men are an unexpected bonus.  

Fifthly I am tired, and busy, but man life is good.  :-)
