Lazytown

And we're back...

from the glorious sun shiny, red rocked, small-freewayed, one Wal-Mart land of St. George.

I'm sold.  Find my man a job, heck, find me a job and we are THERE!

Currently Nick Jr. is on the telly with some show called "Lazytown" featuring these weirdo puppets/plastic people, real people with pink hair, a French guy named Spartacus sporting a totally not stereotypical French pointy mustache who does flips and twists flying through the air and also dresses like a member of N'Sync.  Oh and some other completely freaky bad guy who wears a unitard of some sort with cuff links and has a facial deformity.

Have you seen this show?  The Nub is enraptured with it right now.

I should be concerned, right?

Scary show. I don't let Gwen watch it. It scares me. Gwen was obsessed with this song for weeks.

The bad guy ss Robbie Rotten...He reminds me of my bro...only in body build sense not facial deformity sense, and maybe because my bro could do a great impression...helps that his name is Rob too. ha
What happened to normal kid programming like Smurfs? They might have been tiny blue people, but at least they weren't lazy...wait, wasn't one called lazy?

That would be SPORTacus...because he's sporty and active and against childhood obesity.

I'm so ashamed that I know that.

Yes, be afraid, be very afraid! :)

I've never watched a whole episode, I immediately change the channel whenever I see it's on. Those puppets?/masks?/CGI? thingys scare the crap out of me!

My kids were never that enthralled by the show, though sometimes I wish I were brave enough to wear a hot pink bob. Our latest favorite is Umi Zoomi from Nick Jr.--at least I can handle hearing that in the background!

My little girls like that show for a while. I even have FIVE songs from the show on my iPod. The music makes me want to hit my head with something heavy. Good luck.

Lazytown is not allowed at our house. Why?

Because the whole point is to get lazy children moving, sporting, etc., so they play that music to get the kids wired. Lazytown turns E.G. into a raving, bouncing off the walls, lunatic of a human. Not allowed anymore.

I have never seen that show or heard of it really. But it certainly sounds frightening! AND, I can not get over how much The Nub looks like The Hub! If I were to guess what he looked like at that age it would be that exactly!

Lazytown is the dumbest show ever. Truly stupid. And I am a little bit uncomfortable with how tight the guy's outfits are. Notice. Sometimes you can see their package.

Glad you had fun!! And nub looks so old! He's not a baby anymore!

I think it is the WEIRDEST thing ever. Except Teletubbies, which my kids STILL love, so I get mom o' the year.

Never heard of this show. Now I know to avoid it. Muchas gracias.

i can't opine on Lazytown, but I can say that I love St. George and I'd come visit ya if you lived there :)

I wouldn't mind living in St. George for the weather either. My dilemma would be trying to convince my Luv to leave his whole family behind just to make me happy. Never going to happen. Good luck wishing, right?

Just got your comment... your ears must have been twitching because I was just sending you something at the same time... you still have your PO Box right??

Ya, I know the show. I just want Bob the Builder back! He got cancelled for not speaking Spanish!!
For the record... we have 3 wal-marts down here. Technically one in Washington, Hurricane, and St. George. Mesquite too if you count within 30 minutes. (*hint* hit Hurricane for day after Thanksgiving sale)
