- lots of laying around moaning pathetically and praying for the sweet release of death
- one almost 18 month old suddenly wondering where his mother went
- a trip to the urgent care
- 2.5 bags of IV fluids
- 2 shots of Zofran
- 1 shot of antibiotic
- a follow up visit to the urgent care
- another antibiotic shot, this time in right cheek
- sweatpants
- clear fluids
- a sore butt
- a lost weekend
Tell me, when I get sick why is it always on the weekends?

Oh man! Kidney infections really are evil. I'm sorry! Hope you feel better soon.
Sore butts are the worst. I hate when peanutbutter shots are a necessary evil.

major bummer. I hope you are feeling better soon! how does one get a kidney infection anyway? i'd like to avoid it.
You poor thing! And it's some sort of Murphy's Law to get sick on the weekends. It's the same law that makes it so kids vomit in the middle of the night rather than midday when you're awake enough to deal with it. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh, I have sooooo been there. Geez, you just want to DIE! I hope you are feeling a little better. Those take a bit to fully recover from. :( Take care!
Ouch. Never had those. I've had gall stones & appendicitis & I've heard kidney stones are right there in the pain family.
Oh, honey, so sorry! My Maggie has been hospitalized twice for kidney infections, no fun at ALL! Lots of fluids, and lots of rest. Hang in there!

woah..sounds like a pretty bad infection! I'm sure you're glad it's over...it is over right?
p.s. Sadly in my mind while reading your list I added "___ lbs. lost" ...cause let's be honest, it's the only good thing that comes from being that sick...at least to me :)
I keep trying to think of something really great, funny, comforting, wise.....but I got nothing except- well, that sucks. Hang in there lady!
