today will be spent in sweat pants
a cold/allergies/whoknowswhat has taken over my immune system
i plan on getting very intimate with daytime television
maybe watching a few movies
maybe sneak a shower in
a very productive day indeed...
i realize now that i have a flair for the dramatic. maybe 2 years of living with a spouse who, when sick, is the sickest anyone has ever been in the history of sickness-is starting to rub off on me. really i'm quite alright. just a little phlegm, some sneezing, some congestion (say that in the antonio banderas accent from the nasonex commercial).
what i'm more pissed about are the toothpaste stains (i got a little out of control with my new sonicare toothbrush) on my new pink t-shirt, what the deuce man? pretty sure they're there for good since i already washed it, but if anyone has any good ways of removing the stupid spots let me know.

Oh Kalliko....sorry you aren't feeling well. Hope you'll be better soon.
I love you
MOM
Being sick while prego sucks! I was congested pretty much my whole pregnancy, but once I had the baby, it all cleared up. As far as the stain, I don't know about toothpaste, but Oxy Clean is amazing. You'll be needing it when you have the baby. It gets baby poop out like magic. Just soak it for a bit, and it's gone.
i don't know what to do to remove them, i have ruined many a towel with whitening toothpaste. so hopefully someone does!
and.... make sure to watch "Thoroughly Modern Millie" your sick day won't be complete without it.
soy sauce!!!!
Poor girl. Get a netty pot at Walgreens, I swear by them with sinus and allergy issues!!
Sick and Pregnancy do not go well together. Neither do toothpaste and favorite shirts.
As one who has had several toothpaste stained shirts, there isn't much you can do. It's bleached. Hope you're feeling better.
i'll let you use one of hub's red socks (he's got plenty, don't ask) to re-dye your shirt. he likes to sneak them in on me when i do laundry sometimes to keep me on my toes.
Ugh! I firmly believe pregnant women should get an exemption card from illness -- sorry you're under the weather.
For stains? a good soak in oxi clean (before washing) is my best suggestion.
I'm with Laura. Get a Neti Pot. You'll feel a little like you're drowning the first time, but I swear, once you get the hang of it, it's the best thing in the world to get rid of congestion. And drug free!!
